“This program ticked all my boxes for me. It is a nice well rounded 3 day a week program that is in my opinion ideal for general health, but you can go well beyond that too if you add weight or reps. What I really liked about the program was that it was well thoughtout with safety in mind. There is a warm up, two smaller 3 round work sessions of physical work to prepare for the actual 5 or 10 round work session. He continuously emphasis about not getting too fixated on weight and focus on "owning" and getting proficient in the movement and stopping the session if your form is starting to deteriorate....so safety is always the key focus on this program. At 60 years old with dodgy joints and injuries and after having open heart surgery 6 years ago....safety is paramount and that is emphasised and practised at all times in this program. And as Jeff said, it hits almost everything over the course of the 3 day "foundations" including mobility and one legged balance work which you wouldn't find included in too many programs out there. That is critical for older guys like me. I have lost over over 70lbs from good diet and kettlebell work over the last 6 years and I have gotten a million times stronger and more fit. And this program is going to add to that in spades. If I was to have one gripe with the program, Jeff should have throw in a cool down. It would have "closed the door on the way out" if you know what I mean on this already excellent program. But don't let that be a deal breaker.....get this program and go after it!”
“This is a fantastic opportunity to train with Jeff all the time. The basics are very well explained and Jeff's guidance during the program give more details on how to improve the technique. I hope that Jeff will add some snatch basics video.”
“I wholeheartedly agree with the other reviewers. It’s like having Jeff right there with you in your living room. Awesome coach and content! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. If you are looking to improve your Kettlebell skills, fitness and all around well-being, you’ve come to the right place.”
“5 stars! It's like having Jeff right there in the room with me; I don't want to let him down! His cues are perfect, and the workouts are FUN. Just the right length to leave me sweaty and feeling like I worked – without having to peel myself off the gym floor.”
“Really really awesome! I've been looking for something like this to really learn the kettle bell!”
“Sokol KB Foundations Program is excellent for showing the “what’s next” in a persons young KB journey. Because that’s what it is… How far can this go? Where can I take it? This program helps with all this…. Jeff has a reverence and respect for the KB that I understand when training with these videos.. higher, highly recommended!!!
Over the long course of a on again-off again relationship with “fitness”, I have yo-yo’d from good-to-bad-to OK… I hit my low point this past February ‘19. At 5’8” I am carrying 235lbs. :<( At age 68 it wasn’t going to change in my favor, unless I became pro-active for myself!
I have picked up a KB's I had just sitting there and expect to be more positively motivated by Jeff's words and instructions.”
“Outstanding program with excellent description and a ques! Thank you for making KB education easy and affordable!”
“I think Jeff has done a lovely job with this course. The way he explains the excercises are very understandable but I would rather suggest him to wear a white T-shirt in order to see the position of some movements better. For instance in the TGU, I would like to see the shoulders in certain positions, and with a black background and T-shirt, is not clear enough.
Anyway, I love your great job and how accurate and precise you are.
“As a professional athlete, I have used KB's in the past. However Jeff's program is outstanding. Easy to follow along, and as Jeff says, "if you put in the work and don't half step it, you will get results. As a professional golfer, I need strength, flexibility, and speed. Jeff's KB Program provides all 3, but it is up to you if you need, or want, more of one over the others.”
“Sokol KB Foundations Program is excellent for showing the “what’s next” in a persons young KB journey. Because that’s what it is... a Joirney. How far can this go? Where can I take it? We is program helps with all this.... Jeff has a reverence and respect for the KB that I understand and speaks to me when training with these videos.. higher, highly recommended!!!
I don’t know Jeff, but I feel like I do. For similar reasons under a separate set of circumstances the kettlebell saved my life too. I used run. Over the long course of a on again-off agin relationship with “fitness” I have yo-yo’d from good-to-bad-to OK- to worse... I hit my low point this past Summer ‘18. At 5’8” I was carrying 210lbs and my running was gone because of knee pain, low back pain, sciatica issues, the list was growing and I was losing the fight. None of my old “tricks” were working... and at age 48 it wasn’t looking to change in my favor soon...
Then I picked up an old 30lbs KB I had just sitting there. I started in late August with nothing more than a desire to get better. I have gone after it since and lost 30lbs of fat and getting stronger!!
This program, and Jeff specifically, will instill in you a deep love for the KB, if you haven’t already been bitten by the bug.
They won’t lift themselves!! Go for it!”
“Kettlebell Foundations was the first (and still the only) kettlebell programming series I have bought. As a self-taught newcomer to kettlebells, I was looking for something that would help me transition from learning the exercises into a regular program. The instructional bonus videos are great, and just learning the skills is a solid workout on its own. The three foundations workouts are very scaleable - I have scaled them down and am still working toward completing them in full, and I understand how they can be scaled up for more advanced folks. The program can meet you where you are, and you can grow with it, which I appreciate. The programming does not include a standalone cool-down, but it is easy to just use the warm-up routine in reverse. Jeff has a great camera personality and his instructions are very clear, and the videos are beautifully shot. Highly recommend!”
“These videos are amazing!
As a student and a novice coach, it is a great tool to improve my kettlebell skills. I liked it so much that I bought Kettlebell 101 as soon as it launched.”
